Real Quick

Real quick, before (my favorite) class starts.. CHRIS GOT A JOB!! we hope.. all he has to do is pass the Massachusetts Real Estate Exam, and he'll be golden! Congrats Babe!

It's going to be a busy weekend, and not the good kind either. I have to work on Saturday and Sunday. Chris has his Real Estate class all weekend. We have a vet appointment for Roxy. I have a few projects to do for school. And the list goes on and on... Hopefully it will start slowing down soon, the leaves are starting to change here in Mass and I want to go for a drive to see all of their beauty.

Well that was quick. My Play and Leisure class starts in 5 minutes, better go up and get settled in!

Here we are...

Here we are, Chris and I, trying to find our feet, now in Massachusetts. The objective of this blog is to keep family and friends informed on what is going on in our crazy, hectic life, and to maybe even get some advice from people who may be going through/or gone through what we are. First, a little about us, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick. Chris is in his second year of law school and loving almost every single minute of it (not the stressing part) and all I see with law school is the stress. As for me, I am still trying to finish school, majoring in Occupational Therapy. I plan on becoming a Pediatric OT, working with children with disabilities. Anyway, we got married July 10th of this year and we are both loving the married life!!! As hard as it is for me, I realize that we will have to be patient for life to truly start. We want everything right now, the careers, the house, the kids... we want it all! But we have to think reasonably and just be patient.

I'm a big believer in growth. Life is not about achievement, it's about learning and growth, and developing qualities like compassion, patience, perseverance, love, and joy, and so forth. And so if that is the case, then I think our goals should include something which stretches us.-- Jack Canfield
